Gatlin's coach banned

Los Angeles - The US Olympic Committee (USOC) has banned athletics coach Trevor Graham from using any of its training facilities.
Graham is the coach of disgraced 100m world and Olympic champion and co-world record holder Justin Gatlin, who recently tested positive for testosterone.

The Jamaican-born coach will not be allowed to use any USOC training facilities.
USOC chairman Peter Ueberroth said late Thursday: 'We are notifying Trevor Graham in writing that he is prohibited from using any of our training centres or training sites.'

He added they had decided on that course of action because of the high number of athletes coached by Graham that have tested positive for doping.
If Gatlin's b-sample returns a positive result, he will become the 11th athlete coached by Graham to be banned for doping offences. As a repeat offender, he faces a life bans if found guilty.

USOC's decision came just hours after the organizers of the final Golden League meeting in Berlin announced that they will not be inviting any of Graham's athletes.
Meet organizer Gerhard Janetzky said the list of those athletes who were not welcome at the September 3 event also included sprinter Marion Jones, who in the past worked with Graham.

'She is among the suspects even though nothing has been proved,' he said.
Graham's athletes include Olympic 200m champion Shawn Crawford.
Janetzky said that all European meets should not invite these athletes (Jones competed at the Rome and Paris Golden league and in London) and said that doping controls will be expanded and blood tests introduced.
