Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro are "amicably separating"

Actress Carmen Electra, 34, and musician Dave Navarro, 39, have announced that they are "amicably separating" after less than three years of marriage, Electra's rep Brit Reese said Monday.

Electra, aka Tara Leigh Patrick married pro basketballer and off-court oddity Dennis Rodman in 1998, divorcing months after.

Navarro has been married three times and divorced twice. He married his first wife, Tanya, in 1990 and his second wife, Rhian, in 1994. Navarro married his current wife, model, and actress Carmen Electra on November 22, 2003. Navarro joined the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1993 when he also revealed publicly that he thought himself to be bisexual.

Electra has performed with the The Pussycat Dolls and is currently in London filming the movie I Want Candy, expected to be released next year. Navarro currently co-hosts the CBS reality show Rock Star.

When asked in April whether there was trouble in paradise, Electra, ring on finger, told People, "We're fine! I'm not saying we have the perfect marriage or that we're the perfect couple, but we're pretty damn good. If there were trouble, I wouldn't have my ring on. I would not walk around and pretend."
