Hewlett-Packard has created the super compact wireless chip

The experts from the Hewlett-Packard Company have created super compact wireless chip capable to store up to 4 megabits of data. Besides the tiny size (on dimensions the chip is comparable with the match head), the new development from HP differs with high speed of data transfer, surpassing 10 times the similar parameter of the Bluetooth interface, agency Reuters informs .

Despite of the number of similarities with RFID radio chips (radio frequency identification), the novelty from HP surpasses this technology thanks to higher speed of data transfer, and also greater volume of the stored data and their protection. On development of this chip the researchers from English HP laboratory spent more than 4 years.

In memory of the super compact chip it will be possible to write down music, photos or video. It is possible, that this HP development will receive a wide spread occurrence on mobile telephones creation, players and other compact devices.
