The New York association of the parents has brought an action against the mayor of New York, director of one of the local schools Joel Klein and Department of education, requiring to recognize the illegal interdiction on mobile phones bring by the schoolboys. In opinion of Americans, the interdiction on use of mobile telephones by the pupils restrains the rights of the parents on a safety of the children, is informed in the newspaper New York Times.

Today in New York and other American cities the rule works, according to which children is forbid to have cellular phones on territory of educational institutions. Only during last 3 month the policemen have withdrawn from the schoolboys more than 3 thousand cellular phones, and a lot of telephones were confiscated by the directors of schools.

The silence was broken only by the press-secretary Joel Klein, who has declared, that the authorities will insist on interdiction to use the cellular phones at schools.
