Intel dismisses 1000 employees

The leader in the market of microprocessors the Intel company will dismiss 1000 employees to raise the competitiveness of its business, informs The News York Times. The reduction will affect the managers of the company, but the basic technical experts Intel will not affect.

One percent of the employees Intel will be dismissed, but in the company have refused to inform, how much Intel plans to save on forthcoming reduction of the employees.

In June Intel has declared, that will refuse unprofitable business on manufacture of chips for the communication equipment for the benefit of the company Marvell Technology Group behind 600 millions dollars, and will concentrate efforts on manufacture of microprocessors for personal computers and similar technologies.
