China will surpass America on number of automobiles by 2040

From 2034 to 2040 China has all chances to catch up and even to surpass America on exploited cars number. The representative of Chinese association of motor industry coming out in Pekin has declared about it. The optimistic forecast is caused by the growth of Automobile Park of the country.

During five months of 2006 in China more than three millions automobiles were produced, that on 32 percents exceeds the index of the last year. Moreover for last five years in the country volumes of automobiles manufacture has increased twice - now China take the third place on number of collected machines.

Now in the country more than 32 millions automobiles are exploited and this figure is increased each year by 12 percents. However, for comparison, in USA in 2004 more than 240 millions automobiles were totaled.
