Suri’s birth certificate has been leaked on the Internet

When you've just had a baby all you can think about is breast-feeding and nappies. You wouldn't forget all about your little child of joy's birth certificate? Even if you would you're of course Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

This delay was caused by the fact that neither of the parents nor a representative of the parents had signed the necessary document certifying birth.
That person, whose signature is illegible and who is labeled a "friend" of the couple, arrived on May 4. It is not known whether this friend was present at the birth.

However this is standard practice. Heffernan is authorized to sign the document if no doctor is available, the rep told TMZ — it isn’t a necessity, but "normally the doctor signs".

According to the hospital spokesperson, the friend claimed the birth certificate was obtained because Suri needed a passport.

Cruise and Holmes' daughter has been unseen since her birth with no official photo spreads. Cruise wanted to sell official photos of the new arrival, but the sums offered were allegedly not substantial enough.
