Volkswagen may have come a long way since the original Beetle, but in at least one way it still is very much the People's Car, giving the market their own versions of some of the most popular trends in the industry. As much as we love the new Mazdaspeed3 and pray that we might find one in our garage soon, we know that for much of the world this 263-hp mini monster just isn't very practical. The base Mazda3 is a much better option for most, and even the diesel version makes more sense for a lot of customers, Europeans in particular. But knowing that the turbo terror is out there can make even the most devoted diesel fanboys want a little more than the 108-hp oilburner Mazda offers at the moment

There's no easy way to say this. Toyota isn't perfect. We know what you're thinking. Surely we jest (Prepare for heavy sarcasm - Ed.). Everybody in the whole wide world knows that Toyota can do no wrong. We elitist journalists proclaim their magnificence at every opportunity and are quick to defend them when there is even a suggestion of something going amiss

We know God loves us. How else can one explain the existence of GeigerCars? Whether it’s a 700-horsepower police H2, an audacious Gulf-liveried HUMMER GT, or any number of the various customer cars the company has prepared, no one knows how to hook up a HUMMER like Geiger. Modders who think they’ve accomplished something by throwing on donks, a killer stereo and calling it a day are simply not in the same ballpark

It is necessary to note, that Renault Nepta looks very stylishly. But to speak about serial manufacture of this car is too early. Most likely, Nepta will remain a conceptual development

Citroen will be launching a new people carrier, based on its C4, at next month's Paris motor show. The new MPV may keep the same Picasso name as the current Xsarabased model but it is packed with interesting new features. Although compact, it is a full seven-seater. The front windscreen meets the roof much further back than usual, which lets in plenty of light. The dashboard doesn't have a central section that goes down to the floor so there's stacks of leg-room
